Great news for buyers wanting to build a budget gaming PC. GIGABYTE has today unveiled a new affordable gaming motherboard dubbed the P85-Gaming 3.
The LGA1150 motherboard is based on Intel B85 Express chipset and features the ATX form-factor. The motherboard comes with the Realtek ALC892 CODEC, audio-grade electrolytic capacitors, a headphone amp, and ground-layer isolation.
The selection of expansion slots on the motherboard is not too impressive, but this is to be expected from a budget oriented motherboard. It comes with a single PCI-Express 3.0 x16, two PCIe 2.0 x1, and legacy PCI. For storage, the motherboard offers four SATA 6GB/s ports, and two SATA 3GB/s ports. Other connectivity options include a Gigabit Ethernet, four USB 3.0 ports, and a single HDMI port.
Pricing and availability details aren’t yet available but the motherboard is expected to be priced below the $100 mark.
